With over a decade of experience, Nick has a background in System Administration, Network Administration, Security Monitoring, as well as Blue Team experience securing multiple networks and infrastructure in the manufacturing sector as well as the collegiate education sector. Nick is a cyber security professional with a strong academic foundation and practical experience in safeguarding digital landscapes and translating theory into real-world solutions. Nick has firsthand experience securing and defending systems from ransomware attacks and mitigating threat actors. Nick has also recovered and rebuilt networks for two clients that were hit with ransomware and was able to recover systems and data in a timely manner to prevent loss of revenue and provide feedback and end-user training to reduce the attack surface for future threats.
Mr. Salley holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Management Information Systems from Wright State University (WSU) and is finishing a Master's degree in Information Security Engineering from the SANS Technology Institute (STI). Nick holds the following industry certifications: GPEN, GCIH, Security+ (SYO-601), CMMC Registered Practitioner from Cyber AB, and Microsoft 365 Certified.
Chris brings over 11 years of experience in Penetration Testing, Incident Response, Risk Evaluation, Threat Intelligence, and System Administration. While Active Duty, Chris was the Incident Management Lead for the Navy Cyber Defense Operations Command where he specialized in response to attacks on classified and unclassified Navy networks across the globe. Throughout his career, Chris has provided actionable information for stakeholders to make informed decisions about reducing risk to the lowest possible levels. In his spare time, Chris runs a series of honeypots to aggregate intelligence about Internet attacks, and has created content on HackTheBox, TryHackMe, and Cybrary. Chris is also an avid CTF player and has recently taken the #1 individual and #1 team position in the National Cyber League.
Brett has built a career in offensive cybersecurity with one sole mission - exponential improvement. He has climbed the ladder from Junior Penetration Tester to Chief Operating Officer for Strong Crypto, a cybersecurity solutions provider. He is the Founder and CEO of AXE.AI a cutting edge cybersecurity SAAS start-up and Offensive Security Lead for Abira Security a value added reseller. He has over 14 years of experience in Information Technology with the last 5 years focused on Penetration Testing, Incident Response, Advance Persistent Threat Simulation, and Business Development.
Mr. Ewing holds degrees in Secure Systems Administration, Cybersecurity and is finishing a Masters in Cybersecurity w/ focus area in Cloud Security from the SANS Institute of Technology. Brett has over a dozen IT and Security certifications from the SANS Institute, CompTIA, AWS and other industry vendors GCIH, GSEC, GFACT, AWS SA, AWS CP, CEH, EJPT, Security+, Network+.
